Problem to be solved: The word "signage" is a broad term. In the terms of a music festival it's an all-encompassing word for anything printed that has text and/or graphics. It can be directional, informational, partner directed, or simply just "vibe". It can mean everything from the artwork on the stage to arrows that tell you where the restrooms are.
My Approach: Cohesiveness. To make every piece of signage look like it all lives in the same world. Using clever color techniques and style guide adaptation I guide the concert goer to everywhere they want to go. As they walk through the different areas of the festival, they'll notice (at least subconsciously) that each area, although unique in and of itself, has its own color.
